Digital Responsibility
Awareness comes first. Content creators serve as role models. This means they bear responsibility for the atmosphere in their chat and the message they convey. We encourage creators to find a balance between entertainment and realism, and to always look out for the well-being of their audience.
Transparency & Honesty
Openness builds trust. In the modern streaming landscape, partnerships and sponsored content are normal. However, we expect full transparency. A viewer has the right to know when content is commercially influenced. Honesty about the nature of a broadcast is key to a sustainable relationship with your followers.
Protection of Minors
Respecting age limits. Certain forms of entertainment are exclusively suitable for an adult audience (18+). Creators focusing on mature themes must strictly use available filters and warnings on platforms like Twitch and YouTube. Protecting a younger audience from unsuitable content is a shared priority.
Chat Etiquette
A positive stream starts with a respectful chat. Some golden rules for interaction:
- Respect the Creator: Do not give unsolicited advice ('backseat gaming') unless the streamer asks for it.
- Keep it Friendly: Debates are allowed, but personal attacks or hateful language are not tolerated anywhere.
- Privacy First: Never share personal information about yourself or others in a public chat.
